Description: Describes sculpture made specially for dancers, featuring dancers moving with, around and through kinetic sculptures. Shows the people-sized sculptures that gently move and take on qualities of a mobile., Dancers perform with circular sculptures and patterns that are manipulated videographically to form new colors and kaleidoscopic designs. The film develops like a fugue with dancers moving through themes that are to be repeated with variation and multiplication.

Complete Record: Members of the Mary Stanton Dance Ensemble perform in and around huge fibreglass circles designed by artist/filmmaker Doris Chase. A superimposition technique is used on the circles and human forms, which rotate in a of different patterns and colors. The dancers move with, around and through the kinetic sculptures. Music by George Kleinsinger. Suitable for upper secondary and tertiary levels.
