Churches and Cathedrals No. 1 (Our World in Review Series)

Compares three of the most celebrated Gothic churches in the world: Chartres, the oldest of the three, noted for its stained glass windows; Notre Dame in Paris, known for its grotesque sculptural details; and the Riverside Church in New York City. Close-up shots highlight architectural elements such as buttresses, towers, and portals.
