This home movie opens with the extended Jones family celebrating Christmas in 1948, possibly at the Jones family ranch in Abilene. After opening presents around the Christmas tree, the footage shifts to ranch operations, with several ranch hands branding calves. Back at the house, the Jones children play in the yard. Later, the family gathers to celebrate the littlest member’s first birthday.
