The U.S. seeks acceptance of the People's Republic of China as a member of the United Nations. One year after the Shanghai, Peking makes a decision to set up a liaison office in Washington, whilst the United States will set up one in Peking. The new peaceful China and the U.S. may keep the fragile world peace.
