Children of change

Description: This film shows the Day Care Centres as developed in Philadelphia where the children of working mothers are looked after. A trained social worker interviews parents and co-ordinates the activities of the centre with those of the home. Provision is made for older children after school hours. Some young children are placed with selected private families. Discusses reasons why women go out to work.
