This 1970s silent news footage for KCTV (now KLST-TV) first captures a cattle drive in San Angelo, Texas. Onlookers line the street as mounted cowboys lead the cattle, including many longhorns, through town. Later, residents of Ballinger gather on the lawn of the Runnels County Courthouse to celebrate the community’s birthday.
