Complete Record: The inevitability of change is revealed to a little boy in this animated tale of the caterpillar who danced. One day while playing his harmonica, a boy finds a caterpillar who delights in dancing to the boy’s music. An agent discovers them, and soon the three are in big business--performing for television, on concert stages and records, and selling toys and toothpaste. All over the world, and on the moon, their success is phenomenal. When the caterpillar disappears at Christmastime, the man and boy are very unhappy. Then spring comes, and one day a beautiful butterfly appears, dancing to the little boy’s tune. Based on a story by Norman Corwin. Animated by Zdeněk Miler.
