The tranquility of Castle Combe, a village in Wiltshire, was shattered in 1966, when it was decided to film some sequences of “Dr Doolittle” there. Shows some of the filming, construction of the settings and discusses the effect of the Hollywood invasion on the appearance and the people of England’s prettiest village.
