Description: In December 1941, American expatriate Rick Blaine owns an upscale nightclub and gambling den in Casablanca. He runs guns to Ethiopia during its war with Italy and fought on the Loyalist side in the Spanish Civil War. Rick professes to be neutral in all matters, but he fought in Spain. Former lover Ilsa Lund, a fugitive Czech Resistance leader, enters his establishment. Rick refuses to give her the letters, but she confesses she still loves him.
