Description: A Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production available only to schools. Conflicting theories in regard to Captain Kidd's treasure are here illustrated. We see Kidd in prison in 1701 under sentence of death. He writes a letter to the authorities promising to lead them to his treasure if, in return, they will spare his life. He is hanged, however, and the contents of his letter made public. Three present-day business men discuss a plan for finding the Kidd gold.
