Camp Marston, 1937

Description: This silent film includes scenes from Camp Marston on Rainy Lake, Minnesota, a summer camp for civil engineering students at Iowa State College. These scenes from 1937 include the journey by boat from town passing under a drawbridge and arriving at camp; everyday activities at the camp such as fishing, doing laundry, chopping wood, playing games (horseshoes, cards, table tennis), swimming and boating. Includes scenes of people gathering for group photographs. Also shows some local wildlife.
