[music] In Beverly Hills, this seaweed swimsuit supports California's theory that you can make a bathing suit out of almost anything or almost nothing. [music] Some styles you won't see on beaches this summer are also displayed in this 1952 [music] show. And that gentleman's daring 197 costumes. Shocking, aren't they? Well, Annette herself seems to like them. This ballerina number, believe it or not, is meant for real swimming. You just hang the skirt on a hickory limb. The designer says the costume's perfect for a midnight dip. [music] You know, there's less to this suit than meets the eye. It's like an onion. You just keep peeling it off, and what do you wind up with? Watery eyes. [music] Looks like a warm summer.
