Art critic Harry Bouras takes the viewer on a tour of the Burlington diner established in 1950 from a car of the Burlington Railroad. He shows how the unconscious structures, objects and images of workers have been replicated in American art in the works of Edward Hopper, Ben Shahn, Georgia O'Keefe, Rauschenberg, in the Ashcan School and in op and found art.
