Description: A tour of Tasmania showing various places of interest: life in the two main cities, Hobart and Launceston; the fishing and lobster industries; the raising of sheep and cattle on the rich pasture lands; hop growing; timber from the forests of the islands; tin mining, and the extensive hydro-electric schemes. The various tourist attractions of Tasmania are illustrated with views of coastal scenery and the rugged mountainous country. Also shown are the ruins of the historic penal colony at Port Arthur. Narrated by Jack Davey.
