[Music] so bobby seal chairman of the black panther party draws strength from the words of malcolm x eldridge cleaver and huey p newton and bobby seal in his book sees the time writes the time is now to wade's relentless revolutionary struggle we're going to act like brothers and sisters who are dedicated to a revolutionary struggle and we're going to talk about the people's revolutionary struggle in the confines of decadent capitalistic america we are going to deal with the situation we're going to donate whether we like it or not we're going to donate to the programs that huey p newton put forth the uap news said that power is the ability to make phenomena act in a desired manner and the phenomena we are talking about is the social phenomena october 1966 the first guns we had that was getting ready to use for a big bank robbery and you he says no we won't use the guns for a big bank robbery now he says because the power of the people is where it's at we had four or five guns and he would say we're going to take these guns and we going out to the streets and begin to educate the people about the fact that the gun is a proper a very proper liberation too i say huey hold it i say huey explain that to me brother i'm with you all the way just explain it to me you would say uh this way he would talk uh bobby uh what you have to understand brother is that uh we have to teach the people that the gun is a proper liberation tool that uh if you're gonna go fix a car and the car can't run uh the only way you can fix the car to make it run again is to have the proper tools to fix your car to make it run if you're gonna talk about some liberation of black people or any kind of people you must have the proper liberation tools and the proper liberation tools is the gun we're not jiving we mean breakfast for children the party understands the need to implement also community control of police definite community control of pigs no two words about it the party also means that we want to begin to implement free medicine free health clinics in the black community and you want to know about preaching in the church i'm going to preach to you now well i'm going to talk about five what is it all about fine they say fire's supposed to stop fire i said if i don't stop fire i said the only thing they put on fire is water and everybody knows the fire that you put out all firewood is water and the only way you're gonna put out fire is a a witch a bunch of a bunch of people when i see a bunch of people i say brothers and sisters i do not have to act like a goddamn preacher to you it's not necessary that we do that i say brothers and sisters and people of the world from the appalachians the po whites to the mexican american brothers and sisters to the chinese americans to the puerto ricans to the indian americans to all the way down to blacks who are the vanguard of this revolutionary struggle that we must stand in some kind of solidarity [Music] you
