Complete Record: Short sections of silent animated films, with a few live action frames of a woman at the tail. Opens with an animated segment about polar bears climbing on a blimp. There is a slug of leader, and then a different cartoon. This second cartoon features a mother mouse and her babies. One of these mice helps a lion. The lion has an encounter with a hunter. Neither film is complete. There is a brief few frames of a blond woman (live action) at the end of this reel. The mouse and lion cartoon may be Terrytoons’ 1934 short “The Mouse and the Lion”, distributed through Castle Films. The end credits of this film date it as 1945, though that may be the date of distribution by Castle.
