Beyond the dune

Description: Episode of Series “Wild Australia”. Depicts birdlife on the salt lagoons of the Coorong, S.A., including banded stilts, cormorants and dotterels. Includes a longer study of the colony of pelicans on Pelican Island, especially the play behaviour and feeding of fledglings. John Olsen’s paintings are featured also in this documentary.
