Description: A 1968 Western directed by Andrew V. McLaglen and starring James Stewart, Dean Martin, Raquel Welch, and George Kennedy, Bandolero! was filmed at Alamo Village in Bracketville, the set for John Wayne's Alamo. This behind-the-scenes footage shows cast and crew during production, including horseback action scenes and prop gunfights. Alamo Village is a former movie set on the ranch of James T. "Happy" Shahan. Featuring a three-quarter-scale replica of the Alamo compound, the Village was built for John Wayne's The Alamo (1960). Turned into a tourist attraction after production wrapped, the site was subsequently used in over 100 other westerns.
