Description: “The Uncle Jay Show” aired on Austin television network KTBC from 1953 until 1977. The children’s program, filmed in front of a live studio audience, was hosted by Jay Hodgson with assistance from Jack Wallace and Willard Dyer. The show frequently featured puppets – one of which was operated by Wally Pryor. Watch out for the pie in the face!
