Behavior Theory in Practice, Part 4 - Sequences of Behavior

Presents the techniques employed in the development ofcomplex sequences of behavior. Utilizes pigeons to illustrate the development of homogeneous and heterogeneous ‘chains.’ Using Skinner techniques and domesticated animals, several phenomena are illustrated: elimination of superfluous stimuli, response to alternative stimuli and multiple stimulus control.
