Becoming aboriginal

Description: An exploration of the traditional education of tribal children in the aboriginal family. The same children are seen later in a formal classroom situation at Bamyili in the Northern Territory. To “become Aboriginal” these children must learn to survive in the bush, but also they must learn to survive in a world of European skills and values. Photographer: Andrew Fraser; Narrator: Gerry Bostock.
