Description: In this 1970s television commercial produced by the Dallas-based Bill Stokes Associates, Baylor Bears Head Coach Grant Teaff encourages “good men” to enlist in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Walking through the Baylor locker room and onto the field of Floyd Casey Stadium, Teaff briefly explains the recruitment process. A Texas native, Teaff started his coaching career at Lubbock High School. He went on to coach college football at McMurry University, Texas Tech University, and Angelo State University before landing the head coach position at Baylor University in 1972. The Bears won 128 games during his 21 seasons as head coach, including two Southwest Conference titles, making Teaff the winningest coach in program history. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
