Description: Produced and directed by Paul Burnford and Jerry Samuelson. Basics on photography. Starts with showing a silent film where people get pied in the face. Then showing camera movement such as pan tilt dolly ect with examples of photographer in a amusment park. The next scene explains the mechanics of the camera and types of lenses, showing examples of under/over exposure with a woman in a pool on a boat raft. The next scene shows a woman on a beach with a mirror brushing her hair. Next scene people on a beach fishing. Next scene woman riding a horse. The next sxene talks about placing different materials in front of the lens to make different effects. A fortune teller looking into a crystal ball is shown. A title card that says Main Street. A compilation of people walking, cars going by, city scenes. A titlle card that says corridor. A knight walking down a hall way with posters of chess pieces hanging all around. The camera dollys in to the knight kneeling at the end of the corridor, her opens his helmet to revel that there is no person or face inside the knights armor. Title card that says gramaphone black and white film. Two people sit in chairs asleep in a field next to a gramaphone. Man shown walking through stable fencing. He wallks up to the people sitting next to the gramaphone and starts to play the music. The sleeping people start to get up and dnace much to the music players amazment. When the music stiops the dancers freeze. He starts the music back up and sits in one of the chairs, the two dancers walk off and when the music stops again the player now falls asleep in the chair.Title card Intruder light and shadow. Man walks through the structure of a house being built. When he gets to the stairs the light flickers with every step he makes going up to the second floor.When he gets to the top we see the back of an old lady in a rocking chair. The man walks around to the front of the old lady and he is shocked to see the woman is a dead skeleton. Title card Cycling exterior lighting. Man peddling on an elliptical outside in a park at various times of day, the lighting changes and he becomes more and more tired and out of breath. Title card Rerun interior lighting. Man sits watching TV while different aspects of lighting are explained, key, fill, back ect. Close up of man watching TV and eating popcorn. We then see the TV and the silent film from the beginning is what the man is watching. The End
