Description: This animated adventure tells the story of Elephantland's liberation from a band of bellicose rhinoceroses. After the annual Celesteville Victory Day Parade, King Babar explains the origins of the parade to his children and recounts the invasion which threatened his young rule. Despite a warning from Babar's friend Celeste concerning the rhinoceros Rataxes' rampage against her home village, Babar's advisers are unable to come up with a defensive plan. Installing his look-alike friend Arthur on the throne, Babar and Celeste journey to Rhino City to free the elephant prisoners and are aided by Croc the Crocodile and Zephir the Monkey. Returning to his kingdom, Babar fashions a huge fake elephant from a gas balloon and repels Rataxes' men. (Circulates).
