Pepto-Bismol : Woman (Spanish) b&w, 1955. Same as first with woman replacing man 3. Pepto-Bismol : Children (Spanish) b&w, 1955. Mom tries to vacuum while kids play and she becomes sick. Pepto appears in the air, she pours it on spoon. Diagram going through stomach. Relieved Mom kisses husband with kids standing by. 4. & 5. Lanolin Plus Presents Break the $250,000 Bank. b&w, 1956. 6. & 7. Protex Soap, b&w, 1956. Woman in bath refuses ordinary soap, marches to the store, and gets offered Protex. Finally she’s happy in the bath. Title comes up with “Miracle MS-9” wipes away “Skin Bacteria” She does a dance in her robe which dissolves into her in a formal dress, then dances with man in a tuxedo. 8. - 18. Buffalo Evening News “The News Has All the News”. b&w, 1956. 2 characters stand on each side of the paper displaying that tagline. First has couple winning contest with crown and First Place ribbon. Second has Baseball and basketball players. Third has firemen dripping wet. Fourth has society girl and violin player. Fifth spot is longer and has photographer catching “Fire Level Building” Sixth has 4 women in different outfits waving. Seventh has a kid reading the comics. Eighth is a longer spot which has society people and a fireman plus an animation of the Earth and Moon along with title “If It’s News...It’s IN the News” Ninth is the same as Eight, but with 3 sportsmen instead of the society folk. Tenth is flipping thru ads in the paper then the title “Everybody advertises in the News” Eleventh shows a family- boy reads comics on the floor, Mom read at the table, Dad reads with feet up and smoking pipe while on chair. 19. The Wise Old Man- Quaker Oats. b&w, 1959. Oats man comes off of billboard and feeds soccer goalie on another billboard. He comes to life and becomes a hurricane, whizzing past guards and kicking the ball into the face of the other goalie. He is carried on shoulders of other players. Oats Man feeds other man who’s girlfriend is abducted by bully into a boat. He swims after her and destroys boat. He swims her back to shore and gets a kiss on his cheek. The Oats Man sees billboard of Mom feeding baby cereal he doesn’t like. He switches the bowl with Quacker and the baby loves it. He grabs the spoon from Mom and starts feeding her.
