Description: October 28, 1960 - Austin High Maroons (white) play through a heavy downpour against the Bryan Broncos (black), winning 28-6. The game, attended by some 2,500 dedicated fans, was played at House Park stadium. After their win, the Maroons claimed the District 13AAA title from the Broncos, who were the district champions of 1959.Larry Schirpik, Austin High fullback, scored three of the Maroon’s four touchdowns.
