Description: This film demonstrates the process of the manufacture of ball bearings by the famous Swedish firm of S.K.F. The firm has its own mines and steel works and carries the manufacturing processes right through to the finished product. For commercial uses some 8,000 different types and sizes are produced, in addition special precision ball bearings with an accuracy to 1,000,000 in. are produced for use in precision instruments.
