Arthropods: animal life

Description: The joint-legged animals and the structural and functional characteristics of animals in the phylum Arthropoda; examples from each of the five classes, and their evolutionary development. Metamorphosis and moulting processes are illustrated using photomicrography and time-lapse photography. The economic importance of this class of animals is also discussed.
