Arm For Defense

The film highlights the role of the National Youth Administration (NYA) in providing practical work experience for youth in defense industries during a time of national need. It emphasizes the importance of preparing young workers for essential jobs in manufacturing, welding, and other sectors critical to the war effort. Young men and women gain hands-on experience, contributing to the production of goods for the government and public agencies. The NYA not only equips them with skills but also fosters a sense of responsibility and community involvement, ultimately aiding in their transition to private industry jobs.
