Description: Pictures the Eskimos of the eastern Arctic who left Siberia for the Canadian North in the time of their endurance. These are gentle people living mainly from fish which they hunt from kayaks in summer, by dog sled in winter. Most important is the preparation for the great walrus hunt which takes place at the end of summer. The haul is celebrated by beating upon a whalebone and caribou drum, and the people feast giving thanks with song and dance
