Description: Illustrates an experimental technique of myocardial revascularization. An autogenous vein is removed from the neck and anastomosed to the aorta. The vein is then tunneled into the left ventricular myocardium. Over a period of several months, blood flows into the myocardium and communicates with the coronary arteries. The technique of implanting two veins is shown.
