Anxiety: The Endless Crisis

Examines a wide range of anxiety-producing situations, from the momentary flashes of anxiety experienced universally to the extreme anxiety that can ultimately lead to death, and explains the physiological and mental reactions to anxiety. Presents two mental health authorities discussing the difference between state anxiety, which is temporary because it is caused by a specific objective situation, and trait anxiety, which is persistent because it is a personality trait.
