ALPHA, BETA, AND GAMMA

Gives insight into the origins and nature of Alpha, Beta, and Gamma radiation. After a brief discussion of the methods of describing atomic and the introduction of the energy-level concept, the lecturer introduces the potential-energy well model of the nucleus. This, together with the barrier model, is used as the frame of reference for a variety of other nuclear concepts.
