Alone, Unarmed, and Unafraid (1968)

In this 1968 training film presented by the United States Air Force, actor Robert Stack surveys tactical reconnaissance operations in North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Mission procedures are described in detail, including the process of developing intelligence photographs and carrying out night missions. In multiple interviews, pilots describe their combat experiences. The film also captures footage of Ho Chi Minh City (then known as Saigon) and the air reconnaissance carried out there. The film closes with tired pilots playing a game of pool and Stack describing the risk and reward of being a pilot.
