Description: This instructional film for fire truck drivers from the early 1960s was produced and filmed in Los Angeles, CA. It shows realistic presentations of the hazards encountered by drivers of heavy duty fire apparatus as described and taught by Los Angeles based firefighting instructors. The film was shot through the streets of Los Angeles from behind the wheel of an open air cab fire truck appropriate to the era. It contains multiple shots of vintage cars, the LA sky line, and the freeway system of the time. It presents a unique and interesting niche piece of fire memorabilia.
