Animation is used to explain the whys as well as the hows in showing what happens under the skin as vessels break, expand or contract, as clots form or bacteria enter. The final sequence emphasizes the need to distinguish injuries which are serious and how to call for help when an adult is not around. Kids having accidents around house; diagrams; playing soccer; girl falls off well; boy gets splinter; ambulance arrives for unconscious boy.
