Description: This film is an introduction to the work of Maurits Escher, a Dutch artist born in 1898. His parents want him to be an architect, but his art teacher does not agree. Escher becomes an artist. From the very first, he plays with space and man's perception of it. He creates illusions and illusions within illusions. There is an inescapable logic and a strong preference for geometrical forms. Escher, who says that he does not know what art is and doesn't know the first thing about mathematics, is surprised that scientists have often found his works the only visual way of presenting their theories., An introduction to the work of the Dutch graphic artist Maurits Escher.
