Across the Swiss Alps in 1926, Mountain Road Driving POV | 16mm Film Scan

Description: Travel back to 1926 in this unique POV road trip silent home movie through the Switzerland and the Swiss alps, driving through towns/villages and narrow mountain roads. This is another film shot by Thomas Corrigan Bourke, from his grand tour through Europe. Film was shot with the Cine-Kodak Model A, with most using the battery motor drive unit attachment. I believe they drive on the Furkastrasse and near/through the St. Gotthard pass, however I am unsure of the towns they drive through or most of the specific areas. I did see a "G. Gassler Photographie" store at 4:41, I believe that refers to the photo store chain run by Gottfried Gassler, and I did find a reference to there being a Gotthard location. A sign can also be seen that says "St. Gotthard Hotel | Autogarage" and it is not the modern one in Zurich.
