While fishing, the two Union soldiers discover the corpse of a fellow northern soldier in the river and proceed to bury him. The absurdity of war is suggested as the three disinterestedly resume shooting when the cease-fire ends.--Peter De Domenico, 7/94.; PFA 1608-01-8829. D0223; PFA 1608-01-5291. D0004; PFA 1608-01-8829.
