A Song of air

An autobiographical account of a daughter’s relationship with her father from the interior of a “typical” Australian family of the 1950’s. Using original 16mm home movie footage filmed by her father, she speaks by means of voice-over of his severe religious and patriarchal oppression, and her resistance to his values and expectations.
