Description: Explains the concept of antimatter by using special effects photography and animation and dramatizes an experiment by University of California scientists which sorts cosmic particles in search of antimatter from antiworlds. Shows the preparation and ascent of a 600-foot balloon which carries two tons of instruments to 120,000 feet in hopes of photographing the anticarbon and antioxygen particles in cosmic rays. Hypothesizes a symmetrical universe made of matter and antimatter and speculates on the possibility of antistars, antiworlds, and even an antiuniverse which travels backwards in time.
