gay it's been a long time since i've been out to dinner red's away so much of the time and well besides i'm usually so tired at night i haven't the energy to get dressed up and go out i'm glad you're here with you here why i'm already mom how do i look you look fine dear let me fix your ribbon honey okay oh susan have you seen my pearl necklace huh my necklace oh well i borrowed it what else and i with the loose pearls honey they're in my room suppose you get them maybe we can restring them thank you well we'll see what we can do after all there are things in life more important than pearls but mom if grandma wants us to go back to the farm with her no susan i said you couldn't go but why mom because grandma has enough to do on the farm without having to pick up after you two for a whole week we pick up our own things honest mom we promised couldn't you let them no mother they've simply got to learn not to be so untidy and thoughtless and careless of other people's things i don't mean to be that way mom neither do i well i'm sure you don't but you are and maybe it isn't entirely your fault i should have helped you understand this a long time ago i should have talked to you the way my mother talked to me when i was your age grandma pointed out how careless and untidy i was and then she asked me if i didn't think it was time i started doing something about it and that's what i'm asking you children now [Music] you see god has put us together in one family and a family is the best place to learn how to love one another when we're responsible for our own things and respect other peoples well that's part of loving each other don't you see when we make each other happy we make god happy too the bible says a great deal about this and remember no one's ever too young to do the right thing the thing god wants us to do one of the things he wants us to do is to help one another and when we help one another we show our parents how much we love them and we show our love for god how would you feel if your dad and i kept misplacing your things and every time that you wanted to play with something you couldn't find it i don't think you'd like it if all day long you had to go around the house picking up my things would you i wouldn't of course you wouldn't your dad and mom do a great many things for you and they do them because they love you now if you love them you'll try to do some of these things for yourselves hello hi mom how you still have a good time at the park oh super she did is grandma coming i expect her any minute we better put our things away and wash up yeah we better hurry come on i saw you coming oh good mom i feel marvelous susan johnny grandma's here i declare i've been away six weeks and each of you has grown an inch well i'm sure susan has am i in the right room it's so neat and clean it's like this all the time now grandma so is mine see what you can do if you try [Music] you think that when i go back to the farm susan and johnny could go with me well um i wouldn't be a bit surprised you
