and also traveling. So, well, great. [Music] How are you? Oh, fine. Fine. Please sit down. Thank you. You know Josie, I understand. Uh, yes, I do. Hi, Josie. How are you? Brian, how are you? Oh, I'm great, thanks. I'm not late, am I? Not at all. We've just begun to cover some of the opportunities in the Navy officer program based on Josie's education and interest. So, you're just in time. What's your background? I'm a engineering major and I've taken a lot of mathematics classes also. Now, I don't know much about the Navy and I don't know anything about its officer programs, but I have heard that the Navy does have a lot to offer. It sure does. As a Navy officer, you can use your education and satisfy your interest in any of a wide range of fields. So, let's begin with naval aviation. [Music] [Music] The F5 will be coming in high today around 35,000 ft. Expect the A4 to be medium altitude down around 25,000. [Music] 54 for takeoff. Pad one. Clear for takeoff. Pad one. 54. Feet together and prepare for water entry. Of course, naval air is only one possibility. Another exciting field is submarines, part of the nuclear navy. [Music] You have my permission to submerge the ship. Submerge the ship. I sir diving officer, submerge the ship. Submerge the ship. Sir, right 5 degrees, steady course 180. Right 5° rudder, steady course 180. Hell, mine. Baron, Mark, range, 5,000 yd, drawing on the bow. Keep your watch. Man, battle station. Man, battle station. The Navy has many surface ships and there are many opportunities there. [Applause] [Music] We're on course 180 at 10 knots. On execution of the signal alter course to 245 at 20 knots officer deck shift to one engine per shaft. Vector to station one. Eagle 2012 southwest. This is a drill. This is a drill. Fire 03 79. Get low. Sir, aircraft 716 is airborne. 716 airborne. Heading officer Brown, contact the VS ready room and get a side number for that last event. Hi, sir. Griffin 75 Griffin 705. This is alpha x-ray. Go ahead. [Music] [Music] I'm standing at 25 in of fat tune center. depth looks about right. Bring it on down one more scale and let's go on down one more level. This pretty much goes along with what Art was saying for the staff in general. The Navy officer program offers as many opportunities as any large company. Family service center does family counseling, individual counseling. We also do proactive workshops, quit smoking clinics to pairing classes and money management. There are opportunities in medicine. I agree, Meg. There is a murmur. Let's turn them over and listen to his lungs. I listened earlier and they were clear then. Finally, I'd like to take a look at your vocal cords and breathe normally. Now, E. And there are any number of support positions. In short, a lot of opportunities. I'm beginning to understand. As much or more than you'd find in any organization. The Navy can fill your need. I've heard that the Navy offers a great chance to be a leader right out of school. Is that true? As a Navy officer, even a junior officer, you'll be leading from the start. You'll be in the thick of it from the beginning. Hey, now that's important because it's not always enough just to be a well-greed cog in an organizational wheel. You want to be the hub. That's right. Private companies may have a lot to offer, but early responsibility is often not a part of the benefits. That's not the case in the Navy. Leadership is a top priority. And as a Navy officer, you will experience leadership as you learn. 25 to launch a ready. Yes, sir. We're just going through a W1 right now. The Navy is more than a challenge, more than hard work. The ad says you will lead the adventure, and that's true. But the adventure is also life. Your life in the Navy family. [Music] No, I'm not. I was [Music] with everything I've shown you, there remains one big question, and that is how far can you go? The answer is the same as it is for any organization. How far do you want to go? And all new instruments before the cut over date as well as a new exchange then a contract self-sufficient right [Music] that's all right very important to Oh yeah. [Music] [Music] Congratulations again. You did very well. I'm be proud of this. All your families. My god, they've all turned out in great support. That's marvelous. Well, you got good reasons in these. You know, the Navy sounds like a really good deal. Yes, it does. Tell us more. My pleasure. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music]
