Description: This (regrettably silent) film shows a post-mission visit made by crew members of Apollo 10 in the spring of 1969 to NASA’s Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston (now called the Johnson Space Center) or possibly, the North American Aviation complex in Downey, California. The Apollo 10 mission served as the dress rehearsal for the soon to follow lunar landing; Apollo 11. This mission was the fourth human spaceflight of the Apollo program and second to orbit the moon. The mission launched May 18, 1969 crewed by Thomas Stafford, John W. Young and Eugene Cernan. Named after the character in the Peanuts comic strip, "Charlie Brown" was the nickname of the Apollo 10 command module.
