Description: This silent footage shows a group of actors performing the play Julius Caesar and Black Pride dancers and performers. The location is unknown but it appears that a stage was set up in a housing project of some sort. The dates of the performances are also unknown, but it appears to be 1968 or just post-1968, based on the fact that the stage is decorated with three photos: one of MLK, one of JFK, and one of RFK. The film begins with equipment being unloaded from a Hertz van and a stage dressed. At 1:36, two cigarette smoking white men discuss some aspect of the show. Chairs are set up as anticipation grows. At 2:32 one of the photos is unloaded and set up on stage. At 4:09, what appears to be a performance of the play Julius Caesar culminates in the Ides of March. At 5:03, a group of acoustic guitarists entertains a small audience. At 5:55, a Black Pride group plays drums and performs dances on the stage. At 6:27, the stage is seen in full -- the photographs seen earlier are now gone. The dancing continues, as well as some on-stage gymnastics. At 6:57, a brief shot of a VU meter recording the music.
