This color, silent, raw footage from the Vietnam War dates to July and August, 1967. The subjects include Hurricane Aircat airboats of the "Brown Water Navy", used during the Vietnam War to conduct various counterinsurgency and patrol missions in riverine and marshy areas where larger boats could not go. It also contains footage of Bell UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) helicopter flights into the jungle, and finally a third roll shows local children and adults being immunized and otherwise receiving medical treatment by the U.S. Army’s medical command.
