Description: 16mm Film - We Do! We Do! - USA 1970 Cinematography and Directed by: Bruce Baker Written by: Jack Hanrahan Music by: Martin Slavin Starring: Pat Morrow, Tom Holland, Richard Clara, Jena McMahon, Parley Baer, Linda Leighton, Alice Backes, Joanne Hahn, William Dooley, Dave Willock, Fletcher Allen, Ruith Marie Gibbons, Susan Joyce, Logan Harbaugh, Hugh Noonan et al. A series of last minute warning barrage a teenage bride and groom as they approach the altar. Cliches such as 'My baby, you're too young to get married - Kiss your freedom goodbye - All men are animals - Don't live with either of your families - A man is always a little boy' dominate the scene. In addition to these 'words of advice' given by different relatives and friends of the young couple is the added attraction of a computer that spews forth discouraging statistics about failure in teenage marriages. Only one warm, very human early middle-aged couple argue the case for marriage and despite all the skepticism, the young bride and groom arrive at the altar to hear the minister say: 'Christ makes marriage possibble... to live is to give... Charles do you take Maura...' and the young couple loudly shouts 'We do! We do!' Support my work on Ko-fi! https://ko-fi.com/theartoffilmon16mm
