16mm Film - Was ist mit Lena? - BRD 1989
Regie: Bruno Jantoss
Buch: Annelore Hofmann
Kamera: Richard Schüler
Musik: Heinz Matschurat
Darsteller: Gerlinde Dillge, Ela Nitzsche, Jürgen Schilling u. a.
A nine-year-old loses her dog in a traffic accident. In addition to the pain of the loss, there is the disappointment of her father, who does not recognize what the animal meant to his daughter. His attitude of not dramatizing anything is perceived by his daughter as unkindness. It hits her especially hard because she had previously had a very cordial relationship with her father. The film first outlines the problematic case and then, in the course of the plot, gradually penetrates to the actual cause, which has triggered a serious personality crisis in the girl. The conclusion hints at a way out without anticipating or excluding other possible solutions.
