Der Kurzfilm beobachtet den Bundesbahnbeamten Heinz Löser, der ein eigentümliches Hobby pflegt: Am Wochenende und in seinen Ferien kleidet er sich als Indianer, lebt in einem Tipi auf einem Gartengelände der Bundesbahn und paddelt in einem Kanu auf der Lahn. Doch der Beamte ahmt nicht nur äußerlich die Lebensweise der Indianer nach, sondern ist auch von der Religion und dem Gedankengut des Naturvolkes durchdrungen. In seinem Jahresurlaub ging er nach Wounded Knee um zusammen mit den 'roten Brüdern' gegen das FBI zu kämpfen. Indianerzelte stehen an der Lahn, Trommeln und Gesang am Lagerfeuer. Auf dem Fluss paddelt der Bundesbahnbeamte Heinz Löser mit Lendenschurz im selbstgebauten Kanu. Mit seinen Freunden lebt er in seiner Freizeit nach indianischem Vorbild. Dem wird der Arbeitsalltag Heinz Lösers im Bahnstellwerk Sarnau gegenüber gestellt. Es wird deutlich, warum ihm die Welt der indigenen Naturvölker näher liegt als das 'europäisch-zivilisierte' Leben. The short film observes Heinz Löser, a federal railway official who has a peculiar hobby: on weekends and during his vacations, he dresses up as an Indian, lives in a teepee on the grounds of the federal railway, and paddles a canoe on the Lahn River. But the official not only imitates the Native American way of life outwardly, he is also steeped in the religion and ideology of this indigenous people. During his annual vacation, he went to Wounded Knee to fight alongside the 'red brothers' against the FBI. Native American tents stand on the banks of the Lahn, drums beat and songs are sung around the campfire. On the river, federal railway official Heinz Löser paddles in a homemade canoe wearing a loincloth. In his free time, he and his friends live according to Native American traditions. This is contrasted with Heinz Löser's everyday work life in the railway signal box of Sarnau.
