Der Film erzählt drei Geschichten zum Thema Gemeinschaft. 1. Zeichentrickfilmszene: Verschiedene Menschen geraten beim Blumenhändler über die schönsten Blumen in Streit. Als der Händler jedem eine Blume schenkt, löst er damit bei allen gemeinsame Freude aus. 2. Zu einem Bild vom Markt in Jerusalem erzählt ein Kind im Off die Pfingstgeschichte: Aus getrennten Gruppen von Menschen bildet sich unter dem Eindruck der Christusbotschaft eine neue Gemeinschaft. 3. Spielfilmszene: Ein Kind baut ein Zelt. Andere Kinder kommen dazu und helfen mit. Eine Gruppe entsteht. Ihr gemeinsames Werk feiern die Kinder in einem fröhlichen Fest.
